What is the NetSERVE Teacher Residency Program? The Winthrop University Teacher Residency Program is a 12-18 month Master of Arts in Teaching program for people who have earned a bachelor's degree in another field but who have decided that they want to teach. The Teacher Residency program is an accelerated pathway to teaching licensure offering an integrated academic and clinical experiences design, a $20,000 stipend supported year-long internship with job guarantee, and a coaching and mentoring support network to help you prepare yourself for work with rural, high-needs schools and students.
